The new owner can take over the contract. This can be done by transferring the contract to the new owners name.
The customer can cancel the contract before selling the vehicle. Normal cancellation fees apply (customer liable for the remaining monthly subs of the contract + termination fee)
The device works on a phone-in system, whereby the customer is required to contact the Chase Control Centre on 086 14 CHASE (24273) to report theft or hijacking of their vehicle. Once a call is made, the device will begin to transmit, so tracking and recovery of the vehicle can take place.
The unit has a lifetime guarantee, and we monitor all units periodically. However, you may call or email the Chase call centre once a month to check on your device should you have any concerns.
No. Chase is not going replace your insurance, but it will actively drop your risk profile and your insurance company may even reduce your premiums. All you have to do is submit our Insurance Approved Installation Certificate and your unit could pay for itself.
